Resumen:
This paper describes the specification of an expert system for condition monitoring of the condenser and heaters of a power plant. To fulfil its objective, SEDFIPA consists of several modules integrated together in a general architecture. It combines techniques of component performance models and knowledge based systems. SEDFIPA is intended as a helpful tool to assist the operation of a power plant as well as the maintenance planning of the target components.
